Pineapple Palooza is a small, private bidding game for family and friends. It has no ads, no tracking and nothing for sale. This page explains, in plain English, what the app keeps and why.
Signing in
You can sign in with Google or with a one-time link or code sent to your email.
With Google, we receive your email address, your name and your profile picture link from Google. We use your first name as your starting display name (you can change it). We never see your Google password and we don't access anything else in your Google account.
With email, we keep your email address so we can send you sign-in links. Sign-in emails are sent from siryepufail@gmail.com.
What we store
Your account: email address, display name and the sign-in method you used.
Your games: the Paloozas you create or join, your bids, the round results, scoreboards and the short recaps the app writes after each round. Bids stay secret until a round closes; after that, everyone in that game can see them.
Your settings: notification choices and reminder preferences.
Past games that the group played before the app existed may be included as history, using first names only.
Notifications
If you turn on notifications, your browser gives us a push subscription (a delivery address for that device, run by your browser's push service). We use it only to tell you about your games: a round's results, the next Crate, reminders and game over. You can turn notifications off at any time in your profile or your browser settings, and we delete subscriptions that stop working.
Who can see your information
Only signed-in players. Other players see your display name, your stand and, after each round closes, your bids in the games you share. Nobody else can browse the app's data.
The app runs on Supabase (database and sign-in) and Cloudflare Pages (the website). They process data only to run the service. We never sell or share your information for advertising.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account yourself in the app (Profile, then Delete account). This removes your sign-in, email address, profile, notification settings and push subscriptions. To keep other players' scoreboards correct, your seats in past games stay but are renamed "Former vendor" and are no longer linked to you. If you are hosting a game that is still running, end it first.
Children
The game is meant for family groups, and a parent or guardian sets it up for younger players. We don't knowingly collect more than the details above from anyone.
